These huge fluffy slippers are absolutely the best thing since the invention of penicillin. On a recent excursion to MEC (an awesome outdoor gear store that we have here in Canada), I spotted these hut booties. They’re designed to keep your feet warm at camp after a long day of alpine skiing or hiking, but for those of us who are less adventurous, they make awesome winter slippers.
They’re well made, super warm, vegetarian-friendly (insulated with Hyperloft synthetic insulation), and the bottoms have a grippy PVC coating so they’re non-slip. They’re also water resistant enough that I can pop outside in the snow to take out the recycling and not have to change shoes.
Yes, they are huge and silly looking (I call them my puffalumps). But let me tell you, wearing them is absolute bliss. It’s like walking with your feet wrapped in warm fluffy pillows. I always, always have icy cold feet, and since I got these slippers, my feet have been as toasty as can be. I love mine so much that I made my partner get a pair, and he loves his too. Matching slippers! Ahh, we’re so domesticated

You know, you would appreciated more this booties is you take them where they are calling to be : to a outdoor HUT!
Here a great example : My friends got married on a ski trip and guest and the couple where wearing their nice HUT booties.
Come on, stop being lazy and go outside!
lol, easy to go outside in the winter when you live in BC instead of bitterly cold Ontario, no?
(hey, I took my hut booties outside today in -18C weather to take the compost out to the back, and believe me, I appreciated them plenty!)
But your friends’ wedding does look awesome, bride in white dress and puffy slippers, haha. I love it.
